My name is Ben and I run a small, but perfectly formed, videography company called BRS Wedding Videography, specialising in capturing wedding days. I’ve been in the wedding industry a long time, having worked on the operations side of weddings for two years in New Zealand, then videoing so many I have lost count. However, a wedding is always individual – two weddings are never the same. The best, and most memorable, are those which incorporate a little bit of the personality of the Bride and Groom.
I love weddings: the occasion, the clothes, the happiness they bring and also the range of emotions throughout the day – from nervousness in the morning, to jubilation and pride at walking down the isle, to the sadness and happiness that the speeches bring and finally the party atmosphere at night. There really is nothing quite like a good wedding!
So, why the blog? Well, I see so much when I’m videoing weddings – I have two cameras rolling throughout the ceremony and speeches so I see it not only on the day but also in the editing suite afterwards. I wanted to share some of my thoughts with anyone who would listen, and somebody mentioned blogging!
I’d love to hear your stories, so please feel free to send them to me, and your comments on anything I say will be greatly appreciated, good or bad (although good ones will be appreciated more!) So here goes…
